Bluehost
Bluehost is the host of choice for many successful bloggers and it is my host of choice too.
There are lots of hosting companies out there but I highly recommend to you what I know, use and love, which is Bluehost.
You can start your blog for as low as $3.95 a month. The good thing about Bluehost is, they have affordable plans to cater for every pocket and have amazing customer service. The best part about being hosted by Bluehost is this. You will get a FREE domain when you sign up for hosting with Bluehost. If you decide to choose Bluehost, check out my step by step guide on how to start a money-making blog.
Pinteresting Strategies
This is the ebook that is helping me get my Pinterest strategy in shape. I am still in the process of implementing the strategies, but it has been great so far. If you are just starting out on Pinterest and want a step by step guide to help you position your account for success. Check out Pinteresting Strategies here.
This ebook particularly takes you through the process of manual pinning and how you can get more visibility and page views using Pinterest.
Sumo
Sumo is a tool I could never have done without. Even though they have premium services, you can install Sumo on your site for free. I use Sumo for my smart bar (the opt-in bar at the top of my blog in pink) and I use it to track subscriptions. You can also create opt-in forms using Sumo.
You also get social sharing and image sharing tools on sumo. The social media icons you see on the images on my site were all set up using Sumo. It is an incredibly useful tool.
Grammarly
Grammarly is an editing tool which identifies errors and wrong expressions in my post and prompts me to correct them. When there is a grammatical error, Grammarly prompts me by underlining the wrong word or expression in red. When I hover around the word, it offers me the correct expression I must use or gives me suggestions. If you cannot afford a copy editor, Grammarly is the second eye. You can use Grammarly for free, but there is a paid version you can also check out. Though Microsoft word and WordPress may have similar features, I find that Grammarly identifies errors that word or WordPress do not identify.
Tailwind
Tailwind is a Pinterest and Instagram scheduling tool which helps you schedule your pins on Pinterest and Instagram. This is a tool most bloggers use to schedule their pins on Pinterest to save time. Apart from scheduling, I like Tailwind because it helps me track how my pins are performing and offers me suggestions on how to optimize my pins to get more engagements, and in essence, more traffic to my blog. Tailwind offers you a free trial once you start. This gives you a feel of the service before you sign up.
Mail Chimp
Mail Chimp is an email service which helps you create opt-in forms and manage your email list. It is free for the first 2000 subscribers and you will have to pay after that. The good thing about Mail Chimp is that not only is it free, it is easy to use and you will easily find tutorials available on how to use the service. You can also create opt-in forms, including beautiful pop-up forms. An email list is very important for every blogger and Mail Chimp can help you with this, especially if you are a newbie and do not have money to pay for a paid service. This is the email service I use currently and it has been helpful.
