You may not have money to purchase all the expensive skin care products advertised online but having a healthy and beautiful looking skin is not far from your reach. There are various ways to take care of your skin including natural ways to clear your skin overnight. A clear and smooth skin is important for your confidence and the health of your skin, so you need valuable and cheap skin care tips to help you achieve this, especially if you are on budget.
Good news is, there are five easy ways you can maintain a healthy and good-looking skin. These are inexpensive and can be integrated in your normal skincare routine.
1. Lime and honey mask
The lime and honey skin mask is an efficient way to clear your skin of dark spots and get the glow you need without applying dangerous chemicals or hard substances such as bleaching creams on your skin.
The ingredients are handy and work gently on the skin depending on the portions used. Good thing is, you need just lime and honey (and they are super cheap). You can use already squeezed lime sold at the grocery store, but I prefer fresh lime because it has an amazing freshness and works better on the skin.
Lime is a natural harmless remedy which is good for lightening dark spots on the skin due to its high level of vitamin C and citric acid, and has amazing exfoliating properties. Some people choose to apply raw lime on the skin, but do not do this if you have a sensitive skin; another reason why it is easier to use with honey.
Honey is good for skin treatment because it is naturally antibacterial and contains antioxidants which are good for the skin, helps boost your complexion and can help unclog skin pores.
Now that we know the properties of the two ingredients, let’s get to the magic.
Add about a teaspoon of lime to a tablespoon of honey and mix thoroughly. Clean your skin (your face especially) to get rid of oil, dust and dirt before applying the honey-lime mask. With a cotton ball (I prefer using my clean fingers) apply the mixture to your face, elbows, under arms, inner thighs or any dark spot on your body. Apply gently and evenly.
Wait for about 15 minutes before washing it off with clean water (preferably with soap). I suggest you apply the mask shortly before bath time, so you can take a thorough bath afterwards. After cleaning the mask with soap and water, gently wipe the skin dry with a towel and moisturize.
Do this every other day for two weeks and you will notice great changes on your skin. This is cheap yet effective skin care tip, which hardly disappoints.

2. Exfoliate
Skin cells are constantly dying, and new ones get built on the outer layer of the skin. When you exfoliate, you remove dead skin cells and allow new ones to grow.
Exfoliating your skin does not only give you a beautiful glow but helps your skin to grow smoothly and healthy. The number of times you exfoliate depends on your skin type and the exfoliating method. When you notice rough dry patches on your skin, you may need to exfoliate.
There are so many beauty products online and in shops which are supposedly ideal for exfoliating. You must to be careful because you want to get rid of dead skin cells without creating other problems for your skin. There are so many ways you can exfoliate; exfoliating scrubs, exfoliating gloves and sponge, exfoliating cleansers, exfoliating machines, exfoliating towels and more.
Before you choose a product or method, know your skin type and what will work for you.
One cheap and easy way of exfoliating if you are not big on doing so, is to start off with an exfoliating cleanser (or diluted lime juice) with a towel (the surface of the towel must be rough).
Wash your face with lukewarm water to open your skin pores, dampen a portion of the towel with the cleanser/diluted lime juice and rub gently on the skin in a circular motion. Do not scrub hard because that might irritate your skin, which could lead to redness and acne break-out.
You will observe dead skin cells on the towel (if its white) after you exfoliate. Rinse your face with cold water and wipe with a clean towel. MOISTURIZE immediately to protect your skin. For your whole body, use an exfoliating sponge or brush and similarly exfoliate in circular motions. Rinse and moisturize immediately. Cheap, efficient and easy.

3. Drink lots of water
This is the cheapest yet most effective skin-care secret of all time. With little effort just as drinking water, your skin works by itself to keep you looking younger and radiant. Hydrating your skin is one of the ways to keep it filled and get your skin cells to function properly.
Since about 60% of your body is made up of water, which aids in digestion, circulation, and the flow of nutrients, it is important to constantly hydrate the body.
Have you gone a day or two without drinking water? Did you notice the dull nature of your skin? Not drinking enough water can make your skin look dry, wrinkled or scaly.
Drinking lots of water is almost an effortless way to detox. If you cannot drink the recommended 8 glasses a day, make sure you drink at least 6 glasses a day.
4. Cut out junk food
Junk food may cost you money, but does not help in giving you a beautiful skin glow.
It may be difficult to cut out the junk and miss out on the tasty goodness, but eating clean is even more rewarding on your health and has significant impact on your skin.
Cutting out junk food such as fries and cheese including oily, starchy and sugary foods can contribute to an ever-radiant skin.
Too much alcohol, caffeine and acids can rid your skin of moisture. What goes inside your body ultimately reflects on the outside and this is no joke. Eat lots of fruits, veggies and nuts.
If that is too difficult for you to do, imagine how greasy, oily and starchy foods look after they are chewed and eventually go into your body. Such an imagination may be nasty, but will make you realize the reality of what you ingest all the time.
The skin is the largest organ in the body, therefore what goes on in the body has a huge impact on how your skin looks.

The rule of thumb is to always maintain a clean skin and wash your skin regularly. It is important to clean your face with a cleanser or soap regularly and rinse with water. Your beauty regimen does not necessarily have to be expensive. Maintain a simple, effective and consistent routine.

It is important to remove your make-up, cleanse your skin and use a body lotion or oil to protect your skin overnight. Use the right products which are good for your skin type.
Do not use too many products at the same time and ensure that they work well together. It is good to include essential oils or other healthy oils such as Coconut oil and Shea butter in your routine (which are cheap skin care products). This is because they add more nutrition to your skin and help protect your skin during dry weather.
